Harmful Effects of UV rays

Many people goes to the beach to tan and make their skin darker. This might look better, but it is actually, bad for your body. Sunburn (Erythema), Premature Aging of the Skin, Suppression of the Immune System, Eye Damage and Skin Cancer, can be the effects of UV rays.

Sunburn is redness of the skin, which is due to increased blood flow in the skin caused by increase of the superficial blood vessels in the skin as a result of over exposure to UV radiation. High UV may also results in edema, pain, blistering, and peeling of the skin a few days later.
